An important feature of SSS is the ability to readily adapt the SSS Clutch principle to a wide range of applications. For instance, SSS Clutches have been supplied for the following: marine main propulsion systems for 27 navies of the world; more than 500 gas turbine driven peak load generation and base load cogeneration plants; steam turbine powers up to 130 MW in combined heat and power cogeneration plant; dual driven pumps, compressors, and fans for petrochemical and process plant energy recovery applications; thousands of turning gear and gas turbine starter drives; water and compressed air energy storage (CAES) plants.
