Rotordynamics-Seal Research (RSR) was founded in 1988 by Dr. Joseph K. Scharrer to provide the industrial rotating machinery community access to advanced aerospace analytical tools and bearing/seal technologies. The company began by providing software and consulting services to commercial rotating machinery OEMs and end users. Since then, RSR has been developed into a full service rotating machinery company backed by a highly trained and educated staff of engineers with both aerospace and commmercial experience.
