RMT was founded in 1986 by Dr. John Nicholas, Don Bohne, and Fran Bohne. Since then, RMT has expanded to over 40 full time employees including Timothy Hoyt, Richard Pielow, Duffy Henretta, and Michael Beneteau, who together, along with the founders, have accumulated over 150 years of rotating equipment field service experience. RMT is an industry leader in the analysis, design, and manufacture of precision tilting pad journal bearings, tilting pad thrust bearings, fixed pad sleeve bearings, and labyrinth seals for high performance turbomachinery. RMT also performs service, inspection, repair, and balancing of turbomachinery plus complete rotordynamic and bearing analysis.
