ROC Carbon began in 1956 as the first carbon/graphite parts supplier in Southwestern United States. Their first customers were the many process plants along the upper Texas Gulf Coast, and for many years, companies such as Dow, Exxon, Texaco, Mobil, and Hoechst Celanese have honored them with blanket purchase order status. In the 1980s their market area expanded to include most of the continental United States, and more recently, the international marketplace. ROC Carbon products find application outside the process industry, in fact, anywhere there is large rotary equipment.
