Perma-Type Rubber, established in 1948, manufactures rubber, inflatable pipe plugs for oil and gas pipelines. Plugs are fabricated from Natural rubber for Natural gas or from Nitrile (Buna-N) for petroleum / hydrocarbon use. Sizes available are from two (2) inch diameter through sixty (60) inch in diameter, in approximately 2 inch increments. Special chemical-resistant and high heat plugs are also available (Butyl rubber - up to 300 degrees F. or EPDM rubber - up to 350 degrees F.) Flame retardant cloth covers for plugs available upon request - suitable for temperatures up to 1,000 degrees F. Mix and match types, quantities and sizes of plugs depending upon your requirements.
