Olympus America Inc. is displaying remote visual inspection systems including borescopes, fiberscopes, and videoimagescopes. Showing the new IFC5 series of fiberscopes with higher resolution, larger images, fixed focus, and tapered flex insertion tubes, the other technology is the smallest true-color, CCD-equipped videoscope, the model IV6C5 videoimagescope. The IFC5 fiberscopes feature fiberoptic fibers that are smaller in diameter and made with the new technology of optical fiber fabrication developed by Olympus. The IV6C5 videoimagescope is the only scope of its size that provides high resolution, true-color images.
