More recently, the company has actively diversified into other areas; including Instrumentation such as mass spectrometers and particle size analyzers, Medical Equipment like artificial hearts, kidneys and pancreases and Advanced Composite Materials used in aerospace applications. Nikkiso Pumps America, Inc. was started December 13, 2000 to establish our presence in the American continents. In September 2005, we dissolved our licensee arrangement with Sundyne Corporation and we now market and service our Canned Motor Pump line in North and South America. Our Metering Pumps are capable of addressing the hydraulic envelope of 0.0002 GPH (1ml/hour) to over 525 GPM (2,000 LPM) in a single pump, against pressure from a full vacuum to over 10,000 psig. We support our customers by an extensive inventory, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and a complete international representative network which provides technical assistance and service on a local level. Additionally, Nikkiso pumps hold a solid market positions in Japan, Europe and Asia. Their rugged design, exceptional reliability and consistent performance have quickly gained us acceptance in demanding applications. The opening of NPA in Houston, TX completes Nikkkiso's first step in serving the global marketplace, serving the Chemical, Refining, Adhesives, Agricultural, Beverage, Food, Oil & Gas, Personal Care, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Textile, Water and Wastewater Treatment markets.
