MSI performs analysis, test, and troubleshooting of all types of pumps, compressors, fans, turbines, and motors, including both centrifugal and axial turbomachinery and reciprocating machinery. Specializations include vibration and noise testing, including "bump" testing to find natural frequencies without the need to shut down the machine or nearby equipment. Capabilities include strain gaging & telemetry for stress and nozzle loads, 3-D finite element analysis using ANSYS and ProE and detailed rotordynamic analysis using Romac/RotorLab.
