The Aberdeen base has been operating under the Ashtead name since August 1993 and provides the North Sea with quality equipment and technical advice. The requirements of markets in South East Asia and the Far East are being satisfied by the Singapore branch, which opened for business in 1994. In addition, March 1997 saw the opening of the Houston base to accommodate the demanding exploration markets in the Gulf of Mexico.
