American Pump & Machine Works, located in Geismar, Louisiana, was started in 1979. The main thrust of the company is sealless pump repair and sealless pump part remanufacture. This includes recanning of motor rotors and stator liners, rewinding and recanning stators, rebuilding inner and outer magnet carriers, and repairing containment shells. Pumps can be completely overhauled and most can be test run. Vibration analysis, surge testing, hypot testing, and dynamic balancing can be performed.
