Allied Moulded Products, Inc., manufacturer of the original fiberglass outlet box, was established in August 1958. President Paul Troder began by producing the first outlet boxes in his garage. Due to their ability to resist corrosion, the boxes were sold into the Wisconsin and Minnesota markets and were exceptionally suited for use in chicken coops, hog houses and cattle barns.
