Secondly, by backing these products with quick, efficient service that creates true customer satisfaction.” Our full commitment Our mission, as described above, is quite demanding and most probably it will be difficult to live up to our motto at all times. Still our managers and personnel are strongly committed fulfilling our mission and in year 2001 we were able to take several new steps towards this goal.Further more, we added a sales and production company in Panama, in order to better serve the Caribbean and the Latin American market. Simultaneously we were able to increase and strengthen our existing organization, investing in more qualified personnel, in increased office and production space. Our Organization & PeopleBeing local and having our own people close to our customers, has always been an integral part of our strategy and philosophy. We strongly believe that only in this way we can listen to our customer’s needs, and develop the right “state of the art” products in specialized “centers of excellence”.For this reason we have created a network of 21 OMNITRADEX companies with local product specialists, who can assist, more efficient our customers worldwide.We are continuously investing in improving our specific knowledge base and experience, both locally in our sales companies, as well as in our specialized production units. Preparing For the FutureInternational & internal Communication In this age of improved and swifter communications, our Group is committed to be at the forefront of technology. New communication systems have suddenly become affordable, quick and secure, giving international organizations like ours a way to become more efficient and cost-effective. In the last two years GRUPO FIGEAC has put highest priority to the implementation of a network, with the aim of reducing costs and increasing our overall competitiveness worldwide. We are presently implementing a two-year plan, which will be fully operational and harmonized by spring 2003.
