FVC was conceived as a machining facility in April 1976. Soon after, it became increasingly apparent that there was a need for specialized forgings, other than those readily available. Operations were expanded to include in-house forging capabilities with equipment and dies specifically selected to manufacture seamless, self-reinforcing nozzles that would comply with the high standards of performance, our valued customers demand. \r\n\r\nInitial production included Long Weld Neck flanges, which eliminate the requirements of x-raying the welds, and procurement of weld neck flanges, cutting of pipe and procurement of reinforcing pads. Today, FVC has over 18 different products including Heavy Barrel Necks, Variable Body V1-V2-V3 Necks, Full Body Necks, Super Body Necks, Boot/Sump Nozzles, Transitional Nozzles, Taper Bore Nozzles, Insert (Q) Nozzles, Welding Stubs, Studding Outlets, Blind Flanges, Thimbles, Cylinders, End Caps, Special Contour Fits, Elliptical Ovals & Manways, that range in all shapes and sizes.
